About
My research focuses on advancing the capabilities of small autonomous aerial vehicles, and on enabling operation of teams of vehicles with limited requirements for supervision or operator intervention.
During my graduate work, I helped develop STARMAC ( http://hybrid.stanford.edu/starmac ), a multi-vehicle quadrotor testbed capable of autonomous flight, obstacle avoidance, collision avoidance, and target localization. I also developed market mechanisms for air traffic resource allocation that allowed airlines to be involved in traffic flow decision making, thereby improving overall system efficiency.
