About
I am a research scientist at the St. Lawrence River Institute, in Cornwall, Ontario. My research consists in the study of perturbations influencing the functionning of aquatic ecosystems. I am also interested in the connection between land and aquatic environments, with a particular focus on dynamic of the planktonic food web (phytoplankton and zooplankton).
Current projects in 2011 include:
1- Assessing the impact of Hemimysis anomala on Great Lakes food webs using stable isotopes and fatty acid.
2- Determining the effects of flow alterations on lower food webs of northern Lake Superior rivers.
3- Predicting and maping nutrient and associated algal biomass in the nearshore area of Lake St Francis.
4- Improving fish contaminant models in mutliple AOCs.
